What we collect
If you use the contact form: your name, email address, chosen subject and message. That is sent to us as an email and is not stored in a database. We keep it as long as it is useful for answering you, and use it only to reply.
If you just read the site:Google Analytics 4 records anonymized usage — pages viewed, approximate location at country or region level, device and browser type, how you arrived, and which buy links get clicked. We use it to see which pages are worth expanding. We do not attempt to identify individual readers and we do not sell or share this data.
We do not run advertising networks, retargeting pixels, session recording, heatmaps or a newsletter list.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish one visit from another. You can block them in your browser settings or with an ad blocker, and the site works normally without them.
We do not set a cookie of our own. Our buy links pass through a redirect on our domain, which forwards you to the retailer and sets nothing.
Affiliate links and third parties
When you click a buy link you leave this site for Amazon, and Amazon’s own privacy policy governs everything that happens there — including any cookie it sets to attribute a purchase to us. We receive aggregate commission reporting from Amazon; we never see who you are or what you bought.
Third parties involved in running this site: Vercel (hosting and server logs), Google Analytics (usage analytics), Microsoft (the contact form email is delivered through Microsoft 365), and Amazon (product data and affiliate attribution). How the affiliate side works.
Your rights
If you are in the EU, UK, California or another jurisdiction with data-protection rights, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. In practice, for Pad & Pace, that almost always means a contact-form email, which we can delete on request.
To opt out of Google Analytics entirely, use Google’s browser opt-out add-on.
Requests: info@padandpace.com.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be noted on the page rather than made quietly.
