Across 17 machines, every dimension, weight, capacity and noise figure shows a label saying where it came from — manufacturer spec, retail listing, or not published — with a link and the date we read it. It is a required field of the data structure, not something an author remembers to add.
Where a manufacturer publishes nothing, the cell reads "Not published" and we name the model. That costs us: a table of blanks is less satisfying than a table of numbers. It is also the honest state of this category, and hiding it would make us the thing we built this site to be an alternative to.
No price is written into any page here — it is not possible, the data structure has no price field. Prices come from a daily feed, render with the date attached, and vanish entirely if they go more than 48 hours stale. The failure mode is silence, not a stale claim.
A page that recommends everything recommends nothing. Each ranked page here names one machine, or one whole category of machine, that we tell you not to buy — with the specific reason. We earn a commission either way, which is exactly why it matters that we do it.
